Took a deep breath and crossed the Tamar….  A lovely couple of days last week, with good friends and the most glorious, un-February-like weather.  Walking and cycling in shirtsleeves and shorts (well, the braver ones…).

Stunning coastal scenery of the South Hams.  Too many distractions to sketch seriously but the light, especially in the evenings, was amazing.

Colours nailed to the mast, in the last pic, as Cornish maid vandalises Devon beach…. those of differing opinions feel free to look away now, but let’s hope something sensible distils from the current shambles.  Last time I’ll mention, I promise!

Battening down the hatches here in Point this afternoon: sun’s just shown its face but ’tis blowin’ a hoolie.

Hope you’re all having a good weekend

I grew up on the north coast of Cornwall and although I’ve lived and worked in Southeast Asia, in Spain and in Scotland, all of which informed my work in different ways, Cornwall has always drawn me home.
