Abstract work in progress

Seems a long time since the weather has tempted me out and about with sketchbook but looking forward to Spring proper.

Meanwhile, there’s always plenty to do in the studio. People who have viisited (and it’s nice when they do- give me a call first unless it’s Open Studios Cornwall week), know that there’s always something different under way.

Never really get away from the influence of Cornwall and its margins but I get a real buzz from working in abstract and I’m finding this one quite exciting. I see something different every day and make little changes but I think it’s nearly there now!

Have a good week everybody.

I grew up on the north coast of Cornwall and although I’ve lived and worked in Southeast Asia, in Spain and in Scotland, all of which informed my work in different ways, Cornwall has always drawn me home.
