Southwesterly blow coming to St Ives

img_1110Although we now live on Restronguet Creek, friends, and the special light of Penwith often draw me back.

The wind was freshening from the southwest but it was still bright, with only a hint in the clouds to the west, of the blow that was on the way.  All very familiar from years of living there and I love it.Quick sketch and back to the studio for this.
